Day Three: Morning Convention Session

The most exciting part of today came before I even stepped on the convention floor.

This one goes out to you who were praying for a chance to connect Farrah Abraham with XXXChurch.

I went down to the lobby to wait for some team members to show up before lunch. As I was sitting there Farrah came down and ordered some food from the bar. I was alone and didn't want to approach her without a female team member.

So I prayed for my team members to hurry up and get down stairs. Finally, Sara, the director of beloved ministries in Kentucky showed up and we approached Farrah together.

I introduced myself and we began making small talk and eventually Sara took over the conversation and Farrah said she would stop by our booth later to take pictures.

The best part was when our girls from Beloved brought Farrah a birthday treat to celebrate her belated birthday and sang to her!

At the convention I connected with a guy and was able to have more laid back conversations with no real agenda.

The funniest thing I've seen is; due to the fact that live nudity is not allowed, some of the performers have taken to using our pink "Jesus Loves Porn Stars" stickers as pasties. Yes. That is exactly where Jesus belongs.

I'm still praying for a genuine friendship with a guy to come of this and I'm believing that will happen tonight on the convention floor.
